Snowbell fruit
For the first time, my Bigleaf snowbell bears seed! Each samara (I guess) is about two inches long and vibrant green. Not sure what happens as they mature, but the various critters are eating them fast
It’s winter time
Is everything dead and life-less? Not really! There’s buds everywhere! Beech, azaleas and American Hornbeam look the coolest to me. Here’s the Carolina laurel cherry showing off some remaining fruit along with its buds.
